Welcome to the CamTechNet suggestions page. We hope you – our users – will use this page to let us know what features you would like to see in the web site.

We will also use the page to update you on the progress for the approved features, and also for the scheduled bug fixes.

    1. Implement a more flexible event frequency rule

      I've just put the next 2 events in the calendar. I just thought I'd give you some feedback. It's a bit of a pain because the meetings are every 2 weeks and the site prompts you for daily, weekly, monthly... put doesn't then produce a field (like say Google Calendar does) which prompts "Every -x- weeks". So you can choose [weekly] then [every 2 weeks].

      • Camtechnet on mobile phone

        It would be a good idea to develop an application that delivers filtered news content to your mobile from your website.

        The most annoying thing with content delivered to your mobile phone is spam.

        The “Edit my Profile” section offer a good opportunity to setup filters for text message and solve that problem. For instance I may be interested by any new team leader position in Cambridge in hardware above a certain wage.

        The problem is that sending text to phones cost money. Who pays for it?

          Information to your mobile was planned for future phases. We also want to make sure it is a top priority for our users. So vote on this if you are keen!

        • allow group admins to link an event to their group, as individual events cannot be linked to a group

          Currently only GroupAdmins have the facility to link an event to a group on event create/edit.

          This means that if an individual creates a group event, the event will not appear in the Group detail page
